Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of visiting the Montana Wild Wings Recovery Center in Kalispell. Thanks to a fellow author's brother-in-law, I joined a small group of like-minded, and I'm sure equally fascinated, individuals at the facility. For now, I'm going to share photos from my visit of the residents and some of the great staff who care for them.
Note that the birds in these photos are part of the facility's educational program. Because of the extent of their injuries, they are unable to be released back into the wild.
