A Visit to the Montana Wild Wings Recovery Center

Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of visiting the Montana Wild Wings Recovery Center in Kalispell. Thanks to a fellow author's brother-in-law, I joined a small group of like-minded, and I'm sure equally fascinated, individuals at the facility. I encourage you to check out their website and Facebook page for information about this awesome organization. For now, I'm going to share photos from my visit of the residents and some of the great staff who care for them.

Note that the birds in these photos are part of the facility's educational program. Because of the extent of their injuries, they are unable to be released back into the wild.

  1. I love the expressions of raptors. They are not cute, but they inspire awe, injured or not!

    1. They do inspire awe! I can watch the eagles fly by my house all day and be perfectly content.
