Christmas Story Season

The halls aren't decked, holiday tunes aren't playing on the radio (well, at least in my house), and snow has yet to fall in most parts of the country, but that's doesn't mean the Christmas spirit isn't alive. It's not only the aisles of stores and shopping malls that get a jump start on the holidays. This is also the time of year when book shelves and online shopping carts fill with holiday stories.

What is it about Christmas stories that readers and writers love? Whether it's romance, suspense, western, or paranormal, the season finds a way to touch the lives of readers everywhere. After completing the third book in my Montana Gallagher series, I knew they would get a Christmas story of their own. Readers will able to celebrate the holidays with the Gallaghers next season!

In the meantime . . .

The Gallagher's Christmas story may not be out this year, but a few of my fellow Montana Romance Writers have come out with some fun holiday books for 2013.

A Christmas Hope by Casey Dawes

Christmas Wishes by Danica Winters

Christmas Romance (anthology)
which includes the above-mentioned stories from Casey Dawes and Danica Winters, but you also get two other short stories with it.

Do you read Christmas stories? Do you have a favorite?
