Something fun and different, I wanted to offer two very different books in this giveaway. It was especially fun for me going through and realizing how many other LDS authors there are and what great books they put out there. I haven't read Paranormalcy, but it sounded interesting and had some great reviews. Richard Paul Evans I've read before and he's a great author, though this one has just been added to be TBR list. Happy Reading and Good Luck!
Paranormalcy by Kiersten White - ebook/Kindle
Evie’s always thought of herself as a normal teenager, even though she works for the International Paranormal Containment Agency, she’s falling for a shape-shifter, and she’s the only one who can see through glamours.
But now Evie’s dreams are filled with haunting voices and cryptic messages—and she’s realizing that she may be at the center of a dark faerie prophecy promising destruction to all paranormal creatures.
So much for normal.
Miles to Go by Richard Paul Evans - ebook/Kindle
Alan Christoffersen, a once-successful advertising executive, wakes one morning to find himself injured, alone, and confined to a hospital bed in Spokane, Washington. Sixteen days earlier, reeling from the sudden loss of his wife, his home, and his business, Alan left everything he knew behind and set off on an extraordinary cross-country journey. Carrying only a backpack, he planned to walk to Key West, the farthest destination on his map. But a vicious roadside stabbing has interrupted Alan’s trek and robbed him of his one source of solace: the ability to walk.Homeless and facing months of difficult recovery, Alan has nowhere to turn—until a mysterious woman enters his life and invites him into her home. Generous and kind, Angel seems almost too good to be true, but all is not as it appears. Alan soon realizes that before he can return to his own journey, he must first help Angel with hers. From one of America’s most beloved and bestselling storytellers comes an astonishing tale of life and death, love and second chances, and why sometimes the best way to heal your own suffering is by helping to heal someone else’s.Inspiring, moving, and full of wisdom, Miles to Go picks up where the bestseller The Walk left off, continuing the unforgettable series about one man’s unrelenting search for hope.

I really hope to win Paranormalcy.
ReplyDeleteThey both seem like interesting books. Great variety between the two. I think that makes this such a great giveaway :D
ReplyDeleteI wanted something a little different for a giveaway this time (and a break from my own books) and Paranormalcy isn't in a genre I would normally read so it seemed fun. Richard Paul Evans is just a great writer.
ReplyDeleteI've never read anything by Evans, but I've had him in the back of my mind to check out. And Paranormalcy is a new title for me. I read a little in that genre as well. (And it's never a bad thing to giveaway your own books :D )
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to read Paranormalacy for awhile. Fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteBoth of them sound very interesting! I would love to win!

I love Paranormalcy! It's an excellent book. So, since you are part of this blog hop, does that mean you are LDS?
ReplyDeleteMarny - being LDS is actually not a requirement for the blogs participating. The hop is to giveaway books by LDS authors, but in this case, yes I am LDS.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
