Reader's Choice Debate: Paperback or eBook

As I prepare various giveaways for this blog, I often wonder what readers really prefer when it comes to books - ebooks or paperbacks. It's not always easy these days to offer paperback for international winners and so as authors or giveaway hosts, we revert to ebooks as an reasonable option, but what do the readers prefer or does it matter to them?

So readers, please weigh in and let me know!

  1. I'll get this started since I'm an avid reader. Personally I like paperbacks-the feel, the smell and seeing the books on the shelves. I even carry a book with me in my bag or purse whenever I leave the house. I have an app for my PC to read Kindle books, but it's tough to enjoy sometimes.

  2. I love my Kindle. Not sure I could go back to reading normal books. It's so easy, plus I never have to actually go to a store to buy a book.

  3. Jessica - I've heard others say that that they also like avoiding the book stores altogether. Books at your fingertips. Do you miss going into bookstores though or it's not a big deal?
