Want More Books? Head to the Fairs!

Just a quick post here, but wanted to share. Not long ago, I went to an annual book fair (Bookstock) in Woodstock, Vermont and boy was it a reader's little bit of heaven! If you're in the market for new books, but either can't or don't want to spend full retail price; head on over to the closest book fair held by your town, library or local bookstore. Oftimes the proceeds go to charitable organizations, so you're not only expanding your knowledge, but also helping others.

We have a great one here in the valley hosted by the Friends of the Flathead County Library. Chances are your library hosts one too. If you don't live in an area where book fairs take place, consider hosting your own with proceeds going to a local organization. Oh and did we mention how much fun it is!

Do you have a favorite book fair?

  1. My library system has friends groups that have book sales multiple times a year. I love it!
